Popular Singer Yung6 Compares His Wealth To Drake’s, Blames The Economy

Nigerian singer, Yungsix has blamed the poor Nigerian economy for his dilemma of not making as much as he should in the music industry. Adding that the poor economy has also affected the music industry.

In a recent interview, he explained that the progress and marketability of Hip-Hop is catalysed by environmental factors, ‘the economy’ to be precise. According to Yungsix, he believes that in a country with a stable economy, a rapper like himself should be making money in the tune of millions of dollar.

He told PlanetTV that if things were equal in the Nigerian economy, he would have been as rich as Canadian rapper Drake. “If our economy was as stabled as the American economy, I would be as rich as Drake.”
