The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has followed another N2 billion to the United Bank for Africa (UBA) record of Kantigi Liman, a 2015 governorship applicant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger state.
The counter join organization may announce Liman, who is suspected to be on the run, needed.
The revelation conveys to N6 billion, the assets followed to accounts held by the lawmaker and organizations connected to him.
Two weeks back, the EFCC followed N4 billion to two records in GTBank, both connected to Liman. The main record has a place with Sadiq Air Travel Agency Limited and the second to Kantigi.
Citing sources at the commission, NAN said the lawmaker who was a previous chief of neighborhood government in Niger, had been slippery.
"He is on the run and all endeavors to track him down have been pointless," the office cited the source as saying.
"The following choice left for the commission is to announce him needed."
The source included that examinations so far focuses toward the path that the assets were guided from the nearby government shared service of the state.
"EFCC urgently needs to go up against him with the accessible proof," the source said.
"He is accepted to round up a month to month enthusiasm of over N33 million on the settled stores.
